Description
The Micro Engineering 26-071 is a pack of 12 plastic-insulating rail joiners for Code 70 rail — for cutting power districts, DCC sub-blocks, reversing sections, occupancy detector boundaries, or anywhere else you need to break electrical continuity while keeping mechanical alignment.
Use: Cut a saw gap in the rail and slide one of these into each cut end of the rail. The plastic body holds the rails aligned (no kink) but no current passes through. Rust-coloured plastic blends into ballast.
