The Micro Engineering 26-004 is a pack of plastic-insulating transition rail joiners — one end sized for Code 80, the other for Code 55. Aligns the top and inside edge of the rail precisely as you cross between rail heights, while also electrically isolating the two sections (the plastic body is non-conductive).
Use: Anywhere you transition between Code 80 and Code 55 — typical at staging-to-visible-track joints, when running modern Code 55 into older Code 80 flex, or to define power districts / reversing sections without needing a separate gap and joiner.
