Description
The Micro Engineering 14-722 is an HO Code 83 left-hand crossover with #6 frogs — a complete, factory-built assembly that lets trains cross from one parallel track to the other in a single smooth move. Because both turnouts and the connecting track are engineered as one unit, the geometry is perfectly matched: no fiddly cutting and aligning of two separate turnouts, no kinks at the joint.
On the layout: Crossovers are essential wherever double track meets operations — mainline meets, passing sidings, yard entries and staging throats. The #6 frog angle gives a prototypically gentle diverging path that handles long cars and six-axle diesels reliably.
