Description

Labelle 134 is a micro-fine powdered PTFE (Teflon-type) dry lubricant — the answer for places where a wet oil or grease would do more harm than good. Because it is completely dry, it lubricates without attracting dust, dirt, or ballast fines, making it perfect for couplers, truck pivots, switch stands, and any mechanism exposed to the layout environment.

A puff of this ultra-fine powder works into knuckle couplers to make them open and close crisply, frees up sticky journal boxes on rolling stock, and smooths sliding surfaces on turnout mechanisms — all with zero oily residue. It is plastic compatible and safe on delrin, styrene, and all common modeling materials.

How to Use

  • Apply a small puff or dab of powder to couplers, pivots, and sliding surfaces
  • Work the mechanism a few times to distribute the powder
  • Blow or brush away any visible excess
  • Ideal wherever wet lubricants would collect grime

Compatibility

  • Safe on all plastics and metals
  • Perfect for knuckle couplers, freight car trucks, and turnout linkages in all scales
