Description
The Keystone Scale Models HO8 Single Stage Air Compressor is an HO scale cast detail of the classic single-stage steam locomotive air compressor (air pump). These pumps hung on the side of virtually every steam locomotive to supply the air brakes, and spares were a fixture of every engine terminal and backshop.
Use this casting to detail or upgrade a steam locomotive project, or place it in a shop, on a workbench, or in a parts pile at an engine terminal. It also makes a convincing stationary compressor detail for a mine or mill compressed-air plant.
