Description
The KATO 20-032 is a 64 mm (2-1/2′′) N Unitrack straight section with a built-in permanent magnet below the ties — the Unitrack magnetic uncoupler, equivalent to Kadee's ramp uncoupler but factory-installed in the Unitrack roadbed.
How it works: The buried magnet swings the steel uncoupling pins on Micro-Trains and Kadee couplers as cars pass over. Stop the train directly above the magnet, then back away to leave the spotted car behind.
