Description
The KATO 2-503 is a DC left-hand turnout switch machine for KATO HO Unitrack — the electromagnetic actuator that throws the points of a KATO HO LH turnout (sold separately). Not a turnout itself; this is the under-table or beside-track motor that drives one.
How it works: Wire to a momentary push-button switch or a KATO #24-840 / #24-841 Unitrack switch controller. A pulse of 12-16 V DC swings the points from straight to diverging; the motor latches via a spring-loaded mechanical detent.
