Description
The KATO 2-502 is a dual-function workbench accessory for HO and OO scale Unitrack layouts: one end is a rerailer ramp for placing freight cars and locomotives onto track without having to lift each truck individually; the opposite end is a UniJoiner remover, a tool for sliding KATO UniJoiners off rail ends without bending them.
Rerailer ramp: Set the ramp across the rails, push a car up the ramp, and the wheels drop into gauge as the car rolls off the apex. Quicker and gentler than rerailing by hand.
UniJoiner remover: The small slot-tool slides under a UniJoiner and lifts it cleanly off the rail when reconfiguring a layout, leaving the joiner reusable.
