Description
The Kadee #19 is a NEM 362 European-style coupler with a Kadee knuckle head — the modeler's solution for converting European HO rolling stock (Märklin, Roco, Fleischmann, Liliput, Trix) to North American Kadee operation. Slides into any standard NEM 362 coupler pocket on the prototype car; no gearbox or modifications required.
How to install
- Remove the existing tension-lock or factory-fit coupler from the NEM pocket
- Slide the Kadee NEM coupler shank into the pocket (it locks via the standard NEM tab)
- Verify height with #205 / #206 gauge — adjustment shims included for fine-tuning
Compatibility
- Fits any NEM 362 / NEM 363 coupler pocket — most European HO rolling stock
- Kadee knuckle head — couples with all Kadee #5, #148, #158, etc., plus other NMRA-compliant magnetic couplers
- Trip pin works with all Kadee uncouplers
