Description
Durango Press 7248 is a set of three operating pintle hooks — small cast detail parts that actually work, so a trailer, wagon, or piece of towed equipment can be hitched and unhitched on the layout instead of being glued in place.
Prototype: A pintle hook is the heavy-duty hook-and-latch hitch used on trucks, tractors, and maintenance equipment where a ball hitch isn't strong enough — standard kit on MOW trucks, logging tractors, and military and farm equipment.
Use it for: detailing scratchbuilt or kitbashed trucks and trailers, adding a working hitch to a MOW scene, or dressing an industry yard where trailers get shuffled.
