Description
Bowser's N scale 100-ton open hopper models the N&W H-11 class — an enlarged PRR H-39 design that became one of the most widely built coal hoppers in North America, with over 130,000 produced. Distinctive features include roping eyes with integral end buffers, steeper end slope sheets, and 13 riveted side posts with wider center panels.
The model features a one-piece molded body with full underframe, interior and slope-sheet braces, brake wheel, air tank, brake cylinder and triple-valve detail, roller-bearing trucks, knuckle couplers and metal wheels, and includes a removable coal load.
