Description
The ALCo Century 424 (C424) was a 2,400-horsepower four-axle road switcher built by the American Locomotive Company between 1963 and 1967 as a catalog replacement for the earlier RS-27. 183 American and Canadian examples were built, several of which survive today.
Bowser's HO Executive Line ALCo C424 is a fully-detailed, ready-to-run model with operating lighting features and road-specific details, a heavy die-cast chassis and a smooth, powerful drive on metal wheels with knuckle couplers.
This is the DC/Analog version, fitted with a 21-pin plug for easy DCC installation.
