Description
The Atlas 585 is an HO Code 83 right-hand remote switch machine — right-hand mate to Atlas 584, the smallest HO switch machine on the market. Converts a manual turnout into a panel-thrown, electrically-controlled turnout.
How it works. Twin-coil solenoid driven by a momentary pulse from a toggle, Atlas 56 Switch Control Box, or DCC stationary decoder. Either coil throws the points in one direction. Fits Code 83 Custom-Line turnouts, True-Track turnouts, and Code 83 Snap-Switches with the same standard mounting interface.
Mount above or below. Above-benchwork is the easy install; under-benchwork is more invisible but needs a bracket. DC and DCC compatible.
