GE's U33B of 1967 packed 3,300 horsepower from the FDL-16 into a four-axle U-boat, instantly recognizable by the flared radiator wings at the rear of the hood. Conrail inherited its U33Bs from Penn Central and worked them on eastern freight into the early 1980s; this model depicts Conrail #2932.
The Atlas Master Series N scale U33B pairs crisp, road-specific tooling with a smooth dual-flywheel mechanism. This Silver edition runs on DC and is DCC-ready and sound-ready with a factory-installed speaker, so you can drop in the decoder of your choice.
- Atlas Master Series N scale tooling
- Directional LED lighting
- Blackened metal wheels and body-mounted couplers
- SILVER: DCC-ready, sound-ready with factory speaker
