Description
The Atlas #2880 is an N-scale laser-cut micro-plywood building kit featuring two copies of Kate's Colonial Garage — a small free-standing residential / commercial garage with the upright colonial-style trim that suits any small-town main street or back-alley scene. Two garages per package.
Laser-cut micro-plywood gives you crisp board lines and tight window cutouts straight off the sheet, with self-adhesive roof material and pre-cut window glazing in the box. Illustrated step-by-step instructions plus scale drawings and assembly photos make the build approachable for first-time wood-kit builders.
How to use
- Wood-glue assembly — Tite-Bond, Aleene's Tacky, or yellow wood glue. Tweezers and a steel ruler with a sharp blade help.
- Two complete garages per package — drop one next to a small dwelling, place the other behind a station or commercial block.
- Combine with other Atlas N structures (#2826 viaduct, #2840 signal tower, #2841 station, #2843 roundhouse, #2848 Maywood Station) to build a coherent town scene.
- Paint the wood with thinned acrylics for a weathered look; the laser-cut grain takes washes beautifully.
- Window glazing and self-stick roof material included.
