Description
The Atlas #2754 is an N scale Code 80 Wye (Y) Custom-Line Standard turnout — the symmetrical, full-tie switch that's perfect for the throat of a balloon yard, a wye junction, or anywhere a track splits into two equal diverging routes. Both legs branch at the same angle, so trains entering either leg take a gentle, even path.
Nickel-silver rail on full-length molded black ties matches every other Atlas N Code 80 piece. The double-ended throwbar accepts under-table switch machines on either side of the turnout.
How to use
- Drive with the Atlas Under-Table Switch Machine #65 (150-65), Tortoise™, or a manual ground throw.
- Use a Wye at the throat of a yard or staging fan to feed two equal yard ladders, or at the apex of a triangular wye junction for turning locomotives.
- Pair with #2752 (#6 LH) and #2753 (#6 RH) Custom-Line Standard turnouts to build complete yard ladders.
- For a powered frog, solder a feed to the underside frog tab.
- Compatible with all Atlas N Code 80 track and flex.
