The Atlas #2538 is a 24-pack of Atlas N scale Code 80 insulated plastic rail joiners — direct slide-on replacements for standard metal rail joiners, used to electrically isolate one rail or section from the next.
Insulated joiners are essential for cab-control block boundaries, DCC reverse-loop section breaks, and isolating signal-detection blocks. They install identically to metal joiners — no cutting or filing required — and the plastic body keeps the rail ends in mechanical alignment while preventing electrical continuity.
Compatible with all Atlas N Code 80 Snap-Track and Super-Flex.
