Description
The Atlas #2065 is the under-table switch machine designed specifically for Atlas N Code 55 turnouts — letting you throw turnouts remotely from a control panel instead of finger-throwing them by hand. Mounts under the layout, with a vertical actuator that engages the turnout's throw bar through a small hole in the roadbed.
Solenoid-style switch machine with built-in twin coils — pulse one coil to throw, the other to throw back. Operates on standard 12-16V AC accessory power.
How to use
- Mounts under the table directly below an Atlas Code 55 turnout — drill a small hole through the roadbed for the actuator pin.
- Wire each machine to a momentary push-button (e.g. Atlas #56 Controller, Capacitor Discharge Unit) — do not use continuous power.
- Power from a 12-16V AC accessory transformer tap, NOT from track DC power.
- Pair with Atlas #201 spade connectors for fast solderless hookup to the controller.
- Compatible with Atlas Code 55 turnouts #2050, #2051, #2052, #2053, #2054, #2055, #2056, #2057, #2058.
