Description
The Atlas #201 is a pack of small U-shaped spade connectors for hooking up layout wiring — feeders, switch-machine leads, accessory power — to the screw terminals on Atlas Snap Relays, controllers, and similar accessories, without soldering.
24 connectors per pack. Designed for AWG 18-22 stranded or solid hookup wire and #3 screw posts. Maximum width across the spade tongue is .218".
How to use
- Strip about 3/8" of insulation from your hookup wire, slide it into the connector, and crimp with any standard wire-terminal crimping tool.
- Slide the spade tongue under the screw head of a #3 post and tighten — no soldering, removable anytime.
- Use on Atlas controllers (#56, #205, #220), Snap-Relay/Switch wiring panels, and any layout accessory with #3 screw terminals.
- Works with any standard 18-22 AWG layout hookup wire (Atlas #311, Miniatronics, etc.).
- Replace yearly on heavily-used accessories — corrosion eventually loosens any spring contact.
