The warbonnet is the most recognizable paint scheme in North American railroading, and it is why so many rosters carry at least one Santa Fe unit — even on layouts set nowhere near the Transcon. Deciding which one usually comes down to era, trim level and whether you want sound out of the box.

Microscale handles repaints, including 87-548 for Alco switchers in the blue and yellow scheme. The catalogue is mostly HO, with a smaller N scale selection covering the same H16-45 road numbers.
