The red, white and blue hockey stick and the green lightning stripe are two of the most recognisable schemes ever applied to a Canadian diesel, and for years modelling either one meant decals and patience. That is no longer the case.
Rapido carries most of the motive power in HO. The 36505 MLW S-13 arrives in the green lightning stripe as BCR #1002, while 36506 and 36507 wear the red/white/blue hockey stick as #503 and #1003, all three offered DC/DCC/Sound. The 33529 MLW M420 + M420B set pairs BC Rail #645 and #687 with DCC and sound, and the 50047A 52'6" mill gondola comes in the Dogwood scheme.
Atlas covers the freight cars and the N scale side: 51'6" bulkhead flat cars #19007, #19015 and #19062 for lumber service, Trainman 40ft plug door box cars lettered British Columbia Railway #8007 and #8011, Master box cars in BCOL MOW, and the 40005447 N scale B36-7 Silver as BC Rail #3613 in DC. Microscale 60-783 waterslide decals cover BC Rail diesels in N scale if you are patching or renumbering.
