Rapido's HO scale Budd RDC — the stainless-steel Rail Diesel Car that carried passengers on branch lines and commuter runs across North America for more than 60 years. This run brings the RDC-1 in a long list of new schemes and, for the first time, the RDC-9: the cab-less, single-motor "powered trailer" Budd built for the Boston & Maine in 1956, most of which later ran for CN and VIA until 1988. Canadian schemes: VIA Rail Canada (including VIA's 2010s RDC-1 and RDC-2 rebuilds), CN wet noodle and CN track evaluation car #1501. US schemes: Boston & Maine, MBTA, Metro-North, New Haven, NJ TRANSIT, Susquehanna, SEPTA, Southern Pacific, Yreka Western and Santa Fe's DC-191 / DC-192 pair. Stainless finish, lit number boards and class lights, etched roof grilles; DC/Silent (21-pin DCC-ready) or DC/DCC/Sound with ESU LokSound.
