Not every Canadian modeller is building CN or CP. The ore and pulpwood roads, the bridge lines and the northern passenger operations had their own equipment and their own paint, and finding models of them from a US retailer is usually a dead end — which is why these roads get a page of their own here.
Algoma Central is the deepest of the three, with Atlas 51ft 6in bulkhead flatcars (#2412, #2418, #2424) and the Bowser 24888 GMD SD40 in DCC/Sound as ACR #182, plus Rapido's 50046A 52'6" mill gondola in the delivery scheme. TH&B is represented by Atlas slab side covered hoppers #2834, #2839 and #2841. For Ontario Northland there are Atlas Trinity 17,600-gallon corn syrup tank cars #7 and #8 in both HO and N, and the 50' Berwick boxcar #7879.
Where a model does not exist, decals are the way through: Microscale prints Ontario Northland New Image diesel hoods (87-1395), the Polar Bear Express FP9A and passenger car set (87-1443), and Algoma Central FP9 diesels in N (60-4187). Most of what we list here is HO, with a handful of N items, and several pieces are pre-order production runs from Bowser and Rapido.
