Description
A PECO N (1:160) Code 55 long crossing with Electrofrog. A long crossing — for shallower-angle intersections, common in mainline diamonds and double-track junctions.
Electrofrog: the entire frog is live nickel-silver. There's no dead-spot, so short-wheelbase locomotives crawl across it without hesitation. The tradeoff is wiring — for DCC, isolate both diverging-route rails just past the frog (use PECO insulated joiners), and switch the frog polarity from the point motor or a frog-juicer.

Wiring & DCC
