Description
The KATO 24-811 is a 10-pack of N scale insulated rail joiners — plastic (non-conducting) joiners used to electrically isolate one section of track from another, the essential piece for setting up DC blocks, reverse loops, or DCC power districts.
How it works: Replace a standard metal joiner with one of these insulating joiners at any point where you want to break electrical continuity. The two adjacent rail sections are mechanically aligned but electrically isolated — allowing independent power feeds, block detection, or reverse-polarity wiring.
