Description
The KATO 23-047 is a 5-pack of N scale 50 mm (2′′) concrete-finish piers — the standard support columns for KATO N viaduct sections, also usable as stand-alone bridge piers for plate-girder and truss bridges.
Prototype: Cast-concrete piers carry the elevated portions of Japanese commuter and Shinkansen viaducts; the same prototype piers are used at North American Class-1 bridge crossings. KATO's piers reproduce the moulded concrete formwork lines of the real thing.
