Description
The Kadee #701 Coupler Assembly Fixture is a small workbench tool that holds the parts of a #4, #5, #9, or #58 Kadee coupler in alignment while you install the knuckle and spring. Without this fixture, assembling a coupler is a 3-hand job.
How to use
- Lay the coupler shank in the fixture's groove
- Drop the knuckle and spring into the fixture pockets
- Use Kadee #1020 tweezers (or the spring side of #241) to seat everything
- Snap the gearbox lid on — done
