Digitrax TL1 Single Function Decoder with Transponding (FRED / Caboose Markers / Strobes)

The Digitrax TL1 is the Single Function-Only DCC Decoder with Transponding — a tiny function-only decoder with a single light output and integrated transponding. Goes in places where you need controllable lighting but no motor — FRED (Flashing Rear-End Device) tail-end markers, caboose strobes, passenger-car interior lights, or anywhere a transponder is needed without a full mobile decoder.

3 modes of operation:

1. Function-only DCC decoder with transponding
2. Pure Digitrax transponder (no function output used)
3. Function-only DCC decoder without transponding

• Single 125mA / 250mA-peak function output for lights / accessories
• Function controllable via F0, F1, F2, F3, or F4 (configurable)
• Supports both 2-digit and 4-digit addressing
• Configurable strobe feature — simulates FRED, EOTM strobes, Mars lights, etc.
• Tiny: 0.461″ × 0.31″ × 0.161″ (11.7 × 7.8 × 4.1mm)
• Programmable from any NMRA-DCC-compatible system
