Description
The Digitrax SDH187MT is a HO scale SoundFX v3 mobile sound decoder — 1.0A continuous / 2A peak motor control plus on-board prototypical sound. 2 CV-selectable sound schemes (steam + diesel, switchable by CV) included from the factory.
Fitment: HO locomotives with the 21-pin NEM660 MTC interface — common on European HO (Märklin, Roco, Trix) and many modern Bachmann / Walthers HO diesels. Plug / form: 21-pin NEM660 MTC socket.
About SoundFX v3: Digitrax's sound engine. Each decoder ships with factory-loaded sound schemes (steam + diesel) — no separate sound packs to buy. Sound projects are stored as .spj files and can be re-loaded over USB via the Digitrax SoundLoader app + PR4 programmer.
