The Digitrax DN163K4A is an N scale DCC mobile decoder — 1.25A continuous / 2A peak motor control, 6 function outputs with Digitrax FX3 lighting effects.
Higher 1.25A motor current and 6 function outputs at 500mA each — enough power to drive the 4-8-4 FEF's larger motor and all the extra prototypical lighting on the Glacier Express (interior lights, marker lamps, classification lights).
Fitment: Kato N scale Glacier Express passenger set AND Kato N 4-8-4 FEF steam locomotive — drop-in board replacement. Plug / form-factor: Kato N "K4A" light-board replacement (drop-in).
