Description
The Atlas 843 is a 2-pack of HO Code 100 track bumpers — short Snap-Track sections terminated by a steel bumper post, used at the dead end of every spur, siding, and stub-track on a model railroad.
Prototype: Bumper posts (sometimes called “bumping posts” or “wheel stops”) prevent cars from rolling off the end of a track. The Hayes-style and Buda-style posts on Atlas's bumper section are based on real bumpers used across North American freight yards from the 1900s onward.
