Description
Atlas 60000004 is a pair of N scale model Ford Fairmont sedans in black — small, finely detailed die-cast street cars sized to populate parking lots and curbsides on N scale layouts. Each car carries moulded side-view mirrors, a separately glazed head/tail-light strip, painted interior detail, simulated rubber tyres, and an under-carriage detail layer.
Prototype: the Ford Fairmont was Ford's rear-wheel-drive compact sedan, built on the Fox platform from 1978 through 1983 in North America. It replaced the Maverick and was the foundation under which Ford built the Fairmont Futura, the Mercury Zephyr, and (with a different roofline) the first Fox-era Mustang. Two cars per pack lets you populate two parking spots side-by-side, or split a pair between two scenes. Pairs with the Light Chamois (#60000007), Dark Jade Metallic (#60000016), Medium Chestnut (#60000017), and Medium Blue (#60000051) Fairmonts.
