Atlas’s HO scale 33″ metal wheelsets — the standard freight-car wheel size, sold in bulk for replacements and upgrades. 100 axles per box.
How to use
- Replace plastic wheels on existing rolling stock for smoother rolling, better electrical pickup (where applicable), and prototypical weight.
- 33″ is the correct size for most North American freight cars (boxcars, hoppers, tank cars, gondolas, flats).
- For passenger cars or some specialty equipment, use 36″ metal wheels (Atlas #195100).
- Fits all Atlas freight car trucks plus most aftermarket brands (Kadee, Walthers, Athearn).
- Free-rolling design improves the ability of long trains to roll downhill or coast.
