Description
The 45° diamond is the most common medium-angle crossing on real railroads — you’ll find it almost any place two routes cross. Atlas’s HO Code 100 version drops into any layout and joins seamlessly to standard Atlas track.
How to use
- Joins to any Code 100 track with Atlas #170 rail joiners.
- All-rail-live: no wiring or insulating gaps needed for simple operation.
- For DCC block detection or DC cab control, add insulated joiners and separate feeders.
- Combine with Atlas Code 100 turnouts to build complete junction or industrial trackwork.
- Other Custom-Line angles available: 25° (#172), 30° (#173), 60° (#175), 90° (#176), 12.5° (#177).
