Description
The Atlas Custom-Line 30° crossing produces a slightly steeper diamond than the 25° version — useful where two routes intersect at a moderate angle, such as where a branch meets a main line. Nickel silver Code 100 rail on Atlas’s standard black tie strip.
How to use
- Connects to any Code 100 track using Atlas #170 rail joiners.
- All-rail-live design; no insulating gaps required for basic operation.
- Add insulated joiners and separate feeders if you want to isolate the crossing as its own block.
- Plan complex junctions by combining with Atlas Code 100 turnouts and other crossing angles.
- Use Code 100 transition joiners to mate to Code 83 mainline if your layout uses both.
