Description
The Atlas Custom-Line 25° crossing lets two tracks cross at a shallow, prototypical angle — ideal where a yard lead crosses a main line or where two diverging routes intersect. Code 100 nickel silver rail on Atlas’s standard black tie strip.
How to use
- Drop into any Code 100 trackplan; joins with standard Atlas #170 rail joiners.
- The crossing is “all-live” with no insulating gaps; no wiring required for basic operation.
- For block detection or separate cab control, add insulated joiners at each end and feed each block independently.
- Pair with Atlas Code 100 turnouts (#535/#536, #543/#544, etc.) to build complex junction trackwork.
- For diamonds at other angles, see Atlas #173 (30°), #174 (45°), #175 (60°), #176 (90°), and #177 (12.5°).
