DC version built DCC-ready with an 8-pin NMRA (NEM 652) decoder socket. Features a five-pole can motor with dual flywheels, all-wheel electrical pickup, etched-metal radiator and dynamic-brake grilles, factory wire grab irons, and body-mount magnetic knuckle couplers.
How to use
- Out-of-the-box DC; install any 8-pin NEM 652 decoder for DCC operation.
- HO Code 83 or Code 100 track; minimum recommended radius 22″.
- Run as a matched A-B-A consist with #2014 (10004178) and #2017 (10004179).
- Pairs well with Atlas Master Series CN-roster freight cars (boxcars, hoppers, intermodal).
