Era / prototype: 1880s–1920s industrial / commercial. Typical use: Large open arched opening — fits a streetcar barn entrance, warehouse dray-loading bay, fire-station apparatus bay, or any building that needs a wide unglazed opening for vehicle or rolling-stock access.
