Description
The KATO 20-043 is a 62 mm (2-7/16′′) N Unitrack double track section with concrete ties and dual factory-soldered feeder wires — one feeder per parallel track, ideal for separately powering each direction of a Unitrack double-track main.
Double track Unitrack: A single roadbed piece carrying two parallel sets of rails at 33 mm prototype centres — the standard Japanese-prototype double-track centerline, also matching modern North American mainline practice. Drop in as one piece; faster and more rigid than two single tracks side-by-side.
KATO N Unitrack system: Code 80 nickel-silver rail molded into a factory-attached ballasted plastic roadbed, with integrated UniJoiners. Unitrack is KATO's flagship N-scale track system established in the 1960s — the dominant N-scale sectional track worldwide, used in everything from a Bullet-Train table-top to mainline club layouts.
