Description
The Atlas Standard-Line remote turnout is the workhorse of N-scale layout building — affordable, reliable, and instantly switchable from a control panel. The #2700 is the left-hand version, with a built-in solenoid switch machine integrated into the tie strip.
How to use
- Wire the three machine leads (one common, two directional) to an Atlas #56 Controller or any momentary push-button setup providing a brief pulse of AC.
- Power the switch machine from an AC accessory tap (12-16V AC) — do not use continuous DC.
- Compatible with all N-scale Code 80 track from Atlas (Standard-Line, Custom-Line, True-Track).
- Pair with the right-hand version #2701 for facing-point yard ladders.
- For under-the-table switch machines instead, use Atlas’s Code 80 manual turnouts (#2702/#2703) with Tortoise or similar.
