Description
The Fairbanks-Morse H-24-66 Train Master was a 2,400 hp six-axle road switcher (1953-57) — the most powerful single-engine diesel of its day. Canadian Pacific's 21 Train Masters (#8900-#8920) ran fast freight and passenger service into the 1970s. This is Atlas's N scale Phase 2 model in CP Late Scheme as road number #8913, the middle road number of the Train Master family along with #8911 and #8917.
Features: golden-white directional LED lighting, painted safety rails, etched metal grilles, blackened metal wheels, AccuMate® knuckle couplers. DC version, DCC-ready via NMRA 6-pin (NEM 651) decoder socket.
