Description
The Atlas #22056 is a pair of N scale 70-ton roller-bearing freight-car trucks with Accumate® knuckle couplers pre-installed — a direct replacement / upgrade for trucks fitted to Atlas, Atlas Trainman, and many third-party N scale rolling stock.
The 70-ton roller-bearing sideframe is the standard truck on most modern (1960s+) North American boxcars, hoppers, gondolas, and tank cars. Accumate® couplers are body-shape compatible with Micro-Trains® Magne-Matic® and standard NMRA Type-E knuckle couplers; they self-center, accept magnetic uncoupling, and are factory-mounted at the correct height.
Slippery engineering-plastic sideframes and needle-point axles run smoothly without lubrication. Sold 1 pair per pack — equips one freight car.
