This model has the steel cab, manual reverser, vertical-slat pilot, extended coal tender and large headlight.

Built by Montreal Locomotive Works for the Canadian Northern, the H-6-d (1323–1342) and H-6-g (1354–1409) Ten-Wheelers were light, general-purpose 4-6-0s that worked freight and passenger trains across the whole CNR system until the late 1950s. Over the years they received steel cabs in place of wood, oil burners on part of the fleet and plank extensions on the coal bunkers — and Rapido models those differences road number by road number. Four survive, including 1392 at the Alberta Railway Museum and 1551 (ex-1354), which ran on the Ohio Central.

Factory-applied details specific to each road number — cab, reverser, pilot, bell location, headlight and tender style

Blackened metal wheels and driving rods; accurate and complete piping, underbody and tender detail

Working headlight, marker and classification lights, plus a flickering firebox

Smooth-running drive with heavy die-cast weight centred above the drivers for exceptional pulling power

Designed from blueprints and field measurements; 18" minimum radius (22" recommended)

21-pin DCC-ready socket — add your own decoder

https://oakvillemodeltrains.com/products/rapido-603010-ho-scale-cnr-h-6-d-4-6-0-ten-wheeler-cnr-straight-wafer-1330-dc-silent
