Class GS-413b.

In the mid-1980s CN rebuilt eight SW1200RSm switchers at Pointe St-Charles Shops in Montréal by mating the SW1200RS frame and cab with the long hood of retired GP9s — the 'Sweep' (SW + Geep), officially classed GS-413a and GS-413b. The larger GP9 radiators raised output from 1200 to 1300 hp, and the overhauled cabs got split end windows, better insulation and heating, and the Canadian-tradition hot plate and fridge.
